When you're deep in the day-to-day of running a business, it's hard to see clearly.
Not because you're not capable.
But because you're too close to it.
The decisions pile up, the noise gets louder, and what used to feel straightforward starts to feel heavy.
The result is usually the same - reactive decisions, missed opportunities, and a business that's demanding more than your thinking can comfortably give right now.
Sometimes what's needed isn't more effort. It's space to step back and look at things properly.
I help founders and business owners step back, cut through the noise and make better decisions - faster.

Typically I work with:
•Business owners who feel like they're constantly firefighting instead of leading
•Founders who are too close to the day-to-day to see the real bottlenecks
•Leaders facing a significant decision who want a straight-talking external perspective
•High-performing professionals who need space to think clearly and move forward
Running a business can be isolating.
Most owners don't have anyone genuinely neutral to talk things through with.
Having the right conversation at the right time can change a lot.
The aim is simple - help you step back, see what's really going on, and move forward with clarity.
Most conversations involve:

What looks like the problem usually isn't. Stepping back reveals what's actually holding things back.

When everything feels urgent, most of it isn't. We work out what actually matters right now and what to do next.

Important decisions deserve proper thinking time. Talking them through brings structure, clarity and confidence.

Running a business is isolating.
An external perspective gives you space to think without judgement.

When you're in it every day, opportunities and problems become invisible.
A fresh pair of eyes changes that.

You know it better than anyone.
But that same familiarity makes it hard to see it clearly.
Creating space to step back - even briefly - often brings a level of clarity that's almost impossible to reach alone.
Not because the answers weren't there. But because you needed the room to see them.
Sometimes one focused conversation is enough to cut through months of noise.
I'm Scott Hardiman.
I work with business owners and founders who need to step back and think clearly about what's really going on.
I've spent eight years helping people navigate decisions, pressure and periods of uncertainty in their businesses.
I'm also actively acquiring and operating UK SMEs - which means when you talk to me about what it feels like to be responsible for something, I'm not guessing.
Most of the conversations I have come down to the same thing - helping people work out what's really holding things back, get clear on their priorities, and make better decisions about what to do next.
Straight talking. No fluff.
Sometimes the right conversation at the right time can unlock a lot.
